Skating on thin ice...

Photo taken with my phone but not by me personally. Literally taken after my first few steps on the ice in 11 years, me taking the mick out of myself to hide the fact that I was quite nervous how the session was actually going to go. After two group lessons, I was managing to do some basic jumps and spins although they were scrappy and uncontrolled. I was amazed at how a lot of it came back to me although the fear of falling was ever present. Looking forward to next week's session to progress some more :-)
