Starlings

Bank Holiday Saturday, a pottering sort of day of a little bit of this and a little bit of that - gardening, two loads of washing hung and (almost) dry, a walk into Holmfirth for some salad (but mostly to stretch my legs), and some admin. MrM left mid-afternoon to play at a ceilidh.

Took the camera out of the cupboard for the first time in months. The camera on my phone is, for many things, as good as the Lumix and, of course, far easier to carry round. But the 60x Zoom on the Lumix is good for capturing wildlife. Sadly, much less of that around here than near our previous abode in Northumberland, but there are birds in the garden. Lots of little birds, but recently the starlings discovered the feeder on the shed. The adults are quite aggressive, pushing their hungry offspring away!
