We met Stewart's Mom Pat at Princes Street Gardens for a little picnic in the glorious weather. Then we headed to the National Gallery of Scotland to see Rodin's famous sculpture "the kiss." We had a great little visit.

We returned home for dinner before meeting up with Stewart's friends from University, James and Nick. We also got to meet Nick's girlfriend Nicki. We left the flat armed with a bottle opener and stopped off at a market on Easter Road for libations. From there we walked into Holyrood park, finding a nice outcrop of rocks for our gathering. We told tales, drank beer and laughed a lot in the perfect temperatures and evening skies and watched as the sun set. We then walked back to the neighborhood for a visit to the Tourmalet for more beers and chat. It was a fun day and a late night.
