No stepping stones

The day in brief:

Paddling in the river
Bolton Castle
Hedge Maze
Ice creams at the Welsleydale Ice Cream barn
A drive to Middleham where my grandad grew up (another castle, but only seen from the outside)
Thunderstorms
Roast chicken dinner
Another walk to the river to find this "crossing"
Getting rained on again on the way back :)

Matthew was feeling somewhat thwarted by river crossings!
