New well

This is an old well that one of our volunteer gardeners has discovered at Old Government House when digging in the garden. It was in front of the Servants' Quarters. We believe an old Victorian style hand pump was used to raise the water.

Later it was simply filled in and forgotten. We plan to reinstall the old hand pump and make it a feature.
