Today door handles: tomorrow the world

In addition to opening drawers the wee man was delighting in opening doors. Seems very adept at keeping his fingers out of the way but does not stop grandpa keeping a close eye.

What will he conquer nest. Whether there is. Aa world to conquer is questionable.a. I swear I saw animals gathering in twos today and the downpour persisted! It rained all day but not as heavily as for the Edinburgh marathon where a good friend, a year or so younger than me, completed it in 3h 39 minutes!

And if it does survive he now faces the prospect of compulsory service ( if after a Royal Commission lasting years recommends…) when he turns 18. We’ll see!

We (i.e.he and I) went to church, shopping, and filling the car. All of which gave mum a good few hours rest and sleep having been woken at 4 am.

All now safely back home so the house is now much quieter! As the extra shows he’s very much into strawberries.
