Brutus poses

I was expecting this to be a good day, but it didn’t go the way I expected. It was our first market day this year but sadly I didn’t see much of it. I walked into town as got onto Main Street. I met one of my WI friends and was chatting with her. The pavement was full as the stalls were set up on the pavement so I was standing at the edge of the road chatting. I felt something against my foot and turned around to see a car. The wheel pinned my foot to the ground so I was unable to move and it kept driving. I ended up on the floor, bashing my head on the road and lay there bleeding. An ambulance was called and I spent the rest of the day at the Royal Lancashire Infirmary being checked out and having a scan. I got home in the early evening with a sore head and a bad headache. I didn’t get any pictures as I was somewhat distracted, so I got a photo of Brutus for my blip.
