Us lot

A fantastic day.

My 2 brothers and my 2 sisters and their other halves, Elbows and I met up in Eastbourne to celebrate Phil’s 60th.

He and Sue prepared an amazing 10 course feast for us. The food and wines were amazing. We took our time and did a short walk along the seafront after course 6. Phil opened presents and we laughed and talked and reminisced, and sparked a bit too, obviously, like all brothers and sisters.

Most of us stayed the night too, which extended the day.

It was good to catch up. There was some happy chatter as well as sadder things to hear with the trials of life as well as a general appreciation of our bodies getting older and creaking a bit ;-))
