There has to be a little rain sometimes

After yesterday’s weather, today’s grim rain felt like the price you have to pay for it.

With the downpour that happened when George was finishing work, it would have been mean not to have given him a lift. Plus, I had to pick up a few things at the supermarket.

The rain clouds were ominous. Not that being in ASDA did much to brighten the day either.
