Shopped for Saturday and really enjoyed it. We’re heading off to Eastbourne to celebrate a brother’s 60th birthday. It’ll be just the 10 of us in our generation. I had already bought a main present but also thought, that to help him be the centre of attention for a change, I’d buy him a gift that represented each decade. It was fun. And I’m pleased with my collection.

I also handed in my work keys today. That felt significant.

This flower bed on the walk home caught my attention. I wonder if anyone’s ever tempted to cut a few and run ;-)))
