West door of Beverley Minster

A trip over the Yorkshire Wolds today. A torrential downpour didn’t bode well for the event! However it turned out better than expected. Despite the wonky knee I had a wander round the urban orienteering course - a good way to see the sights. 

Paused on the way back to take a photo of the fine west door complete with a fine array of stone carvings. On the lower level the second figure to the left of the door as you look at it is Noah and his Ark. Just amazed at the stone masonry and craftsmanship.
