....I give up!  BUT I did manage to catch a good blip when I spotted the swans that live on our stretch of canal, and they had their five cygnets with them.  I didn't have my camera with me when they sailed by but later when I was out on the patio I saw the family in the gulley that runs between the house and the pontoon which banks the canal.  I managed a couple of shots.

In other news: this morning I cooked a butternut squash curry which we're having for tea. After lunch we went to Cafe Afloat for a coffee.  It rained heavily whilst there.  Luckily we had a table under the awning.  The rain has kept up, off and on, for the rest of the afternoon with thunder and lightning to make it more dramatic.
