It’s arrived

A pack of tarot cards I backed on kickstarter a very, very long time ago. Quite a kerfuffle tbh and despite the cards being good quality and beautifully drawn it’s put me off backing things on kickstarter in the future.

After backing the project and being told (from the kickstarter page) the cost of shipping was included I was asked, some weeks later to sign up with another platform so shipping could be calculated. I’d have to give my details and credit card details and then they’d let me know what the cost was after they charged me! Some postal costs from the US to UK can be quite significant, even for a box of cards. At this point I, alongside many others, were unhappy and the project leads indicated that anyone not paying postage would have their order cancelled and receive a refund, absolutely fine by me I thought . . .

Months later and no refund in sight I contacted the project leads to see how the situation would be resolved as they were close to ‘closing the project’. The box of cards were with me within the week.
