Dumfries House

Jane's church charabanc trip was to the very impressive Dumfries House this year.  Both the house, and its contents, and gardens are spectacular.  It shows what massive wealth can produce,  so best not to dwell on that too long, or the controversies about the international donors.  

Amongst the many interesting facts was that over 10% of all Chippendale furniture lives here.
