Setting off to race!

Today was Worthing Regatta day! This is the first crew I joined a coxed women’s master 40+ four and my first ever setting off on the sea. We had an really good race where you race from start line to the turning buoys, go around them as quickly as possible and race back to the starting (now finish) line.
We had a really close race and we came in 2nd place. Also started the senior women’s four and mixed quadruple. The quad race was 11(!) quads lining up and racing towards 10 buoys… very exciting race, which we won!
