Windrush/ Oil on canvas

I was at our local Art Gallery today where there is an exhibition of Britains Colonial Past .

This is one of 12 exhibited portraits of people who came over from Jamaica
on ‘ Windrush’ .

It is of Alford Gardner who said he’d had a ‘wonderful and fruitful life’.

I thought it was a wonderful portrait painted oil and canvas but it was so good I presumed it must be a very good photograph.

So? That’s my dilemma!! Art v Camera!
