My birthday today and the sun did shine - for a while. Presents and cards opened over breakfast and then Mum and I did a supermarket trip to buy supplies for more visitors tomorrow. Dad dug in the dahlias and fettled the garden whilst Bailey operated in a supervisory role. And then out to lunch to meet with the favourite people at the Ferryboat. Good food and company made for a lovely lunch. Home to do very little except for an afternoon nap. I have lots of cards, flowers, books, clothes, new earrings and a birthday trip planned in a fortnight and feel thoroughly treated.
