Castellers

Veronica and S. came over today from the Aude. We had lunch together and then I gave them a tour of all the village taking in the bells of course! They both had a pull and S. climbed up the ladder into the belfry. We then walked up to the belvedere and back through the old village. It was then off to Prades to watch the festival of human pyramid building which is taken very seriously in Catalonia. Several coachloads had come across the border and the local sports hall was set out for a huge celebratory meal afterwards.
