Wooden carving

I did my day in the office and finished it off at home. It's funny when you have an arrangement straight after work, how things start to go wrong or new challenges suddenly crop up.

We were supposed to meet Diane at 6:30 for an early dinner. Normally, this would not be a challenge, but today, I found myself on the phone with a client in Solana Beach, California! Fortunately, she was already in the office. It was 7:15 in the morning for her!

I kept the call short and got ready in a jiffy. G & I walked to the restaurant. At Diane's request, we ate at Sigdi. The food there is truly delicious. The wooden carved window is a feature of the restaurant. The Moghuls were artists who loved intricate things.

We had a good catch-up with Diane. She's been scuba diving in Micronesia. We got to see some of her pictures and videos. Sadly, she is leaving for the UK in a couple of days. Her mum is not well.
