Long
There are two Parkruns near me, one a nice 1.5mi, downhill, jog away in a flat country park, the other a similar distance away but uphill and reputed to be "toughest in London". I don't do that one very often but I have done it a lot so know exactly what it's like. I've been badgering a work colleague to come along for ages (he lives a few miles away but easy on the train) and last night he got in touch and said he'd be up this morning. To the tough one. It's part of a national cross country course so is very off road, with a couple of steep (and some less steep) hills, tree roots and all sorts of bends and twists.
When I asked him afterwards he laughed and said it was horrible.
After we'd had coffees and he'd gone back home I spent a couple of hours at the allotment and then cut the back grass for the first time this month. Leaving it that long wasn't deliberate, it just seemed to happen. It does look a lot better.
A quiet night tonight; Korean chicken burgers (if I ever get round to marinading them, plain if I don't) and a movie I think. No idea what yet, the latest Netflix offering I expect.
