One swallow doesn’t make a summer

And one gooseberry doesn’t make a crop. But it’s a start…..

I’ve loved gooseberries since I was a child. I’m lucky. Our Waitrose sells them. 

Ok. They tend to be quite expensive (but not as silly as the Jersey Royals in the Canalside Farm Shop yesterday at £7.70 a kilo.) My friend who lives in Enfield just can’t get them. I posted her a pack a few years ago, and the postage was more than the produce. 

Just watching the superstar Tadej Pojacar show us how to cycle, and flipping occasionally to the FACup………

It’s all go, isn’t it ? 


Edit : PS I didn’t buy the potatoes. There are limits !
