Funeral for the Future

I knew about this event and had intended to go and support it. But I had it in my head that it was next Saturday, not today... If I hadn't needed to go to town to collect medication I would have missed it altogether...

At least I managed to take some photos.

I know there are people who don't believe climate change is a thing, or if it is, it's not something humans have either caused or can stop. But there is proof that the use of fossil fuels, deforestation and extensive livestock farming are having a big effect on the climate and the temperature of the planet.

There are people who do know, but don't want to change anything because it would not be good for business. It seems a bit short sighted.

I did type out a way the powerful could save the planet without damaging their own way of life at all, then realised it all sounded a bit bonkers... Too bonkers to type, but so much that has happened in the past couple of decades might have sounded a bit crazy had anyone put it into writing beforehand.

Enough of my dystopian sci-fi musings.. I'm off to watch the F.A. cup final now! Man Utd have a goal already!
