WHAT A SURPRISE AND WELCOME TO PORLOCK!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We can’t believe it’s Silly Saturday again - and we had a lovely surprise while we were away!  On 6th April, we introduced Spikey to you all and said that Hoggy and Spikey had “bedded down” together - I’m sure you all know what can happen - and it did!  

A cute little baby Hedgehog, who is all pink and lovely came home with us - and of course, named for where he or she was born, so meet Porlock - see the very top photograph in the collage. We’re not quite sure whether it’s a girl or boy, but we’re sure all will become clear in time.

So now, every time we see Porlock, the little pink hedgehog, we will remember what a great time we had there.  We think that dear Admirer would approve and we also think she would be giggling about our new addition.

Mr. HCB put up both his contraptions this morning, ready to plant out his runner beans dwarf climbing beans, so we had a great time climbing all over one of them - of course, some of us had to have a helping hand to climb, but it was worth it.  However, Mr. HCB says we definitely MUST NOT climb on them once the beans are growing.  

Mrs. HCB is doing really well and has been resting - in other words, doing what she has been told, which is a miracle!  She has asked us to thank you all for your kind comments, stars and hearts and hopes to be back very soon - she is still wearing her sunnies and needs them today as the light is very bright.
