Papa Phoebe

More activity at the bird bath.  Every year I have a pair of Phoebes nest in the eave of the potting shed.  It is nearly impossible to get a photo of the mamma on the nest, but I see poppa to-ing and fro-ing feeding her.  He took a break from his work to hop onto one of the landing platforms in the bird bath to have a good long drink of water.  The stones are there to help the smaller birds drink.  Our hot weather streak has broken, thankfully.  A glorious morning to begin the three-day holiday weekend.
