Activity

A couple of weeks ago I blipped a bluetit which appeared to be making itself at home in the nesting box.  This morning I watched a lot of activity, comings and goings and general busyness. This looks like a harassed parent leaving the nest but I suppose it could be a chunky chick. Whatever it is I'm delighted that the box has been useful this year. 

More rain last night but it's dry just now. I'm on an early mission as I'm running a meeting this morning as part of my trustee role. It will be an informal affair but I still feel I have to be on alert. 

Tomorrow is going to be a full day so I'll be sure to take it easier this afternoon. Though that's not easy when the garden is so needy!
