The light looked interesting when I got up this morning. It wasn’t quite close enough to the balloons but I still sort of liked this. A challenging day trying to help my son craft a LinkedIn profile that gives nothing away… A bit like this photo.

On the good news front, started a fantastic new novel Ghost Cities  by Siang Lu. I’d found his Beige Index a bit meh, but this is the ticket! Finally free for new reading after eventually finishing The Master & the Margarita after months of background deep reading (joked to my brother that I was considering learning ancient Greek to read the gospels in the original) - maybe my expectations were too high - it was ok, but I didn’t get the same thrill that I’m getting from Ghost Cities (early days though, and I guess I did love the first chapter and Pilate sections of the M&M).
