Despicable Us

Off to Edinburgh on this scorching day to see Despicable Me 2 - which was excellent. Lots of childish fart jokes, lots of action which used the 3D to great effect (although the best 3D was in the closing credits) and essentially a warm, loving family film at heart. I definitely shed a tear at the little girl's big moment at the end.

To top off our own lovely, warm (in every sense!) family day we sat down to watch The Tour de France and Chris Froome totally blew the race apart by charging up mountains at a pace nobody else could match. Excellent!
