Baby peaches

Finally managed to get to peach tree this afternoon and was so pleased to see it’s quite liberally sprinkled with baby peaches.

Morning spent going to do car swap. Very upset as didn’t receive promised cheque which I’d been relying on to buy some food for weekend. It was promised twice and I confirmed it on arrival at garage. Salesman said secretary would give me it when doing paper work. When I saw her she said they always do it by bank transfer and I should get it Tuesday or Wednesday.. When I was leaving the salesman came over smiling and holding out his hand to shake. I asked him why he didn’t tell the truth earlier and he said it’s only a few days! I said Id been counting on it and walked away. I suppose they don’t have many customers who haven’t the money to buy food when they let them down. Felt such a fool to have trusted them again.
This evening had to drive to fetch grandson. Difficult in a hybrid automatic car.

Just so tired and stressed. Had bread and cheese as couldn’t wait for grandson’s promised omelettes.
