Zombie Apocalypse in Motukarara?

... er, no, just the annual Mud, Sweat and Tears Challenge.

This race/fun run takes place over a muddy cross country course at the Motukarara racecourse. We had a friend racing in a team (fancy dress of course) over the 5km course, so we went along to support. It's kinda weird seeing everything from Stars Wars characters, Superheroes, Gingerbread men and giant condoms racing through thick mud, but very entertaining none the less.

This trio were captured towards the end of the lap on the 10km run. And don't they look like they've been through the wringer?
