Friday Rose

Booked a plumber yesterday through our home care policy to deal with four separate problems, and was told he’d be here today between 8am and 6pm. He arrived at midday and was able to deal with the first problem, was puzzled by the second, and said he’d book specialist to deal with the third and fourth problem and that I should expect them to call this afternoon; they didn’t. So didn’t manage to get out on my “day off” but had plenty of chores to keep me busy while I waited, and waited. Another grey day with the sun only appearing late afternoon, felt chilly again.
