Proper Summer Saturday

What a difference proper summer makes! Great day all round. The Husband went to the neighbours' this morning to watch the Barbars game (they beat Australia) and I took the Fs swimming at the local outdoor pool. Then this afternoon we rigged up our bikes, cycles along the Cam and went to our friend's concert. The F'ers sat and listened for the whole first half and then played quietly for the second, therefore were good all round and a pleasure all day.

We got the paddling pool out after tea and then the Husband and I managed a film, chilli and Pimms for dinner. Roll on Sunday, I'd quite happily do it all again.

PS looking forward to Wimbledon.
