A beautiful day today, so we convinced ourselves that the garden still needed to dry out a bit more before we worked on it again, and, with the bank holiday and half term coming up we'd be better off going for a walk today when it'd be less busy, and set off for Felixstowe. Our walk took us past the docks (obviously!) and around parts of Landguard Common, then back along the edge of the beach. The plants on the sandy common had enjoyed the additional water this year - it was too bright for plant photography but I've included some of the Viper's Bugloss and Scarlet Pimpernel as extras to show some of the colours, and there were the usual sea kale, Euphorbia, etc as the sandy common turned into gravelly beach (with large areas roped off to protect nesting birds).
