summer flowers

I love the way the flowers all mingle together at this time of year. Not had a white foxglove for a while. Roses and ox-eye daisies almost ready to open. Nice and cool today, so a good day in the garden. And we popped up to Thornton nursery for some extra compost. I only bought one plant, a beautiful fern, it says ladder fern on the label. Ferns do well in our garden - they’re mostly self-set and grow really big. I think they look jungly and exotic.
