Home Front

Last dog walk on the beach then we packed up before going to our favourite cafe for breakfast before we said our goodbyes, all agreeing it had been a lovely few days and hoping  to return here.
Then we hit the road.
Pleasant drive home and l quickly unpacked and had a quick look at the garden: the recent rain meant it didn’t need a water and it was looking lovely. Welsh poppies, foxgloves, allium and cornflowers looking particularly good.
Then some errands, a parcel to post, one to collect, both at different venues. The sandals l had ordered from Charles Clinkard in Ilkley were ready to collect, so was a prescription at the chemist.
Then a quick supermarket shop to get some essentials.
Finally home for a relax and a read.
