Preseren Square

Actually it’s round.

Preseren is the Shakespeare of Slovenia but more popular and the lady on the top is his girlfriend who lived in an apartment across the square. Reputedly he is looking straight at her window.
A bit drizzly as we arrived in Ljubljana but the sun soon came out and we’ve had a good wander round and a boat trip through the city as well.
Hopefully it will be warm enough to eat at a pavement cafe this evening.
