Sunrise on the dunes

While I really enjoyed the photography of some camels in the dunes during the early morning light, overall our camping experience was a bit of a disappointment. After trekking 2-3 hours we arrived at the designated spot to find 4WD vehicles parked amongst the permanent camp tents - had hoped for a more wilderness atmosphere than that! And I have seen better dunes in Namibia and Oman. Still, it was fun sleeping under the stars and enjoying the early morning light.
