Oops! …..

….. ….. ….. that wasn’t supposed to happen!
I slipped on an icy patch on top of a raised gutter edging. 8pm last evening. There wasn’t any ice on concrete anywhere else! so I was unlucky. I whammed onto the bottom of the thumb area of my outstretched arm. My neighbour M. took me to A&E this morning and I’ve ended up with a cast, although the XRay wasn’t clear enough to show a break. It’s not too bad this evening.
My daughter & son-in-law have just left after bringing me dinner - I’m feeling spoiled. It’s lovely.
