Allerford

A day of changed plans. It was supposed to be a steam train day but it always helps if you make sure they are actually running that day!
We still enjoyed our day though. Sal did a bit of craft shopping in Minehead and then we popped down the road to Allerford to have a coffee in the old Post Office Tearooms. The photo is of what I would imagine would be most people’s dream house if they had the choice.
We returned to Minehead and spent an hour up at the old harbour. Later in the day we walked down to the marina and harbour in Watchet, it was very quiet.
Quiche and Salad for tea and we both agreed that we’d enjoyed it more than the previous nights fish and chips.
