Bullock

We escaped from the clouds and rain of the last few days for a few hours In Yorkshire.

This is the view from The Bittern Hide at RSPB Old Moor south of Barnsley in the Dearne Valley.

We didn’t manage to see (or hear) a Bittern but did see many other birds most noticeably well over a hundred Swifts zooming about over the reserve.
