Revealed!

Back in February I blipped a photo of a large box which was at the museum.
The item in the box has finally been put on show.
We have received the grave marker of Francis McLaren MP who died while training at Montrose in 1917. Previous to training as a pilot Lieutenant McLaren served in Gallipoli.
The grave marker was designed by Edwin Lutyens. Who also designed the Cenotaph in London.
