Blonde hair, Grandad
The rain was horrendous when we set out to Nursery this morning but Euan had fun cycling through the enormous puddle which had accumulated at the traffic lights. After I had handed him over I walked to Costa for a cuppa and to dry off somewhat then it was back to the house to do a couple of jobs and that was pretty much it. There was no way I was going to venture out to get soaked through again.
Tony messaged to say his orienteering event had been sensibly cancelled and he would be setting off after rush hour. He had an awful journey on the M1 in the pouring rain with roadworks almost non stop between Wakefield and Leicester and enormous lorries pounding past. At least he was in time to come out with me to collect Euan.
Back home Euan has 16 minutes of screen time and here he is creating an avatar of his grandad, apparently with blonde hair because they don't do grey on Sweetvalley Farm (I think that's what it's called, it seems to involve planting an awful lot of parsnip seeds and then watering them). He is very good at coming off when the timer goes and then we spent some time drawing characters from his latest favourite stories about Adventure Mice with Euan writing titles next to them.
