Early dinner with our “Godson” Jonah!

We are really his “adopted” godparents.
His older sister has some but he decided as he didn’t have any that he would like to have some of his own, and we had a phone call late one evening quite a few years ago now from his mum, as he’d asked her to ring.
Of course we said “Yes”.
There has been no ceremony, or church service, but he calls us his godparents just the same.
It felt so special, still does, that even now in his twenties that he contacts us to catch up. He and his lovely partner Cat, live in Cardiff now, where they both work.
He just happens to be back here for a couple of days.
We had a lovely time catching up over dinner at one of our favourite places.
What a day for weather!
Non-stop rain all last night and most of today, most of it heavy!
He’s just dropped us back home, as he’s a huge football fan so he’ll be watching the Europa League final on TV at his mum’s.
We’ll be watching “Race Across the World” later!
