We want bread!

Well, four of us kids and Mum do - our sibling has had enough bread for one day!

Back to Blackford Pond to check up on the swan family, which has become a weekly visit. The cygnets are much more independent, with three of them staying "home alone" on the island while Mum and Dad and two of the cygnets went for a swim. They do very well on the bread front - although the adults swans are usually slower than gulls and ducks, the united front of five cygnets and parents keeps the competition at bay.

Beautiful sunny, warm day today, hope it will stay like this for tomorrow at least.
