Photosphere

The Sun in visible light with a false colour added to make it more 'sunny'.
The photosphere is the normal view in visible wavelengths, what we might think of as it's surface. Using different filters, most of which are very expensive, we can see different levels of the solar atmosphere. As I haven't got the funds you won't be seeing any fancy shots of the Sun from me!
