St. Moritz - Champfèr

Beautiful morning in the St. Moritz - Champfér area. An eventful 2 1/2 hours. Kara found a skull and a hind leg of a wild animal. The hind leg was probably from a deer that had recently been killed.

Then we passed the open shooting range in St. Moritz at the old ski jump where hunters were obviously shooting. We were only about 50 metres away and there was a row of cars with hunting dogs parked behind them. Kara was neither distracted by the noise of the shooting nor the dogs in the boxes of the open cars. Box checked.

Then on to Lej Marsch (moorland lake) where we got Kara used to the swaying wooden platforms and the muddy bottom of the lake. Box checked.

Drinking from the lake and the mountain stream in the forest. Box checked.

Finally across large meadows where horses, cows and lots of wild animals did their "business". She also remained mostly (but only mostly) unimpressed. :-).

Now to sleep on her back all afternoon.
