Honey

The talk at the W.I. was by a beekeeper  it was really interesting. He’d brought along some honeycombs and the frames ready to go in the hives. Also some bees stuck to a card so we could see the difference between the different ones. You’ll be glad to know that honey is actually bee spit. I could have done without knowing that. I bought a jar as it’s supposed to be good for allergies like hay fever, 
My cake was on a low table so it looked ok from the top. Most of it was eaten even though the other lady brought some very nice macarons and fairy cakes.
