Turning 10 & Hogwarts Express

It's CyclopsJnr's birthday, and he's 10 today.

The second of his big birthday days out was the Harry Potter tour at Warner Brother's Studios.  We had an amazing time!

He was delighted to be given a special Happy Birthday badge by the staff, and allowed to open the doors to the Great Hall for the rest of us!  We enjoyed seeing lots of sets, from the Great Hall to Gringotts, the Forbidden Forest to the Hogwart Express, and the Gryffindor Common Room to the Potions classroom.  We enjoyed seeing lots of costumes and props too.  We thought it was well put together, and the staff were all absolutely lovely.

We had lunch at the half way point, and tried Butterbeer, which was a (rather sweet) novelty if nothing else.

At the end of the day we went to Pizza Express for dinner, which we followed with a few games of pool back at the hotel!

Another tiring but lovely day!
