Hummingbird Hawk Moth

I had never seen one of these before. They are quite amazing drinking the nectar with a ridiculously long tongue. I wonder if it fits in their mouth or if they go around with their tongue out all the time. I gather they are not unusual in England. Never saw them when i lived there!
