Day One - headed south

And we are off!
Day 1 of our camper van trip to Scotland and back! There are going to be plenty of days to count on this journey.
Today has been excellent and we covered nearly 700 km, with only 300 more in Sweden. Great driving weather and not too much traffic. So this was the day…
Cup of tea at home then start driving south.
Breakfast 200km later by a lake.
Another 150 km and a stop for lunch and a walk.
A stop for dinner after another 200 km, and a final 150 before we stopped for the night.
Shared the driving and enjoyed the day.
Now at Brahehus slottsruin (Brahehus castle ruin) above Lake Vättern.
As we drove south we passed from spring to summer. At home the dandelions are just green leaves. As we journeyed south flowers appeared and eventually there were yellow fields, full of dandelions. Further south on the trip they were seed heads. And then they were gone! And now it is summer!
