Looking I p through the elder tree at the most perfect sky ….and photo bombed by a crow and an hover fly !! Another glorious scorcher of a day. Legs and feet out, sun hats and suncream , coffee needed to be taken in the shade . Proper hot and sunny all day. Wonderful. The dog cooled himself down in the pond , good idea but I’m not that keen on the scummy pond weed myself .
Long and interesting chat sitting in the garden with Sarah who I’m hoping will house and dog sit in July . She really likes Basil ( there’s not many )!!
Busy working the afternoon in the office , I just couldn’t put things off any more despite the weather saying ‘go swimming in the lake’ instead .
Leisurely evening stroll with Hubs and a little allotment tending done in the warmth of a summers eve , all very idyllic . Forecast mostly pi**ing down all day tomorrow, orange weather warning in place and 8 degrees cooler . We enjoyed it while it lasted .
